We stayed for one night at Mill Farm B&B. We arrived at around 3pm, and at first thought we had arrived at the wrong place as we literally drove onto a farm! However we were in the right place, and Margaret greeted us with tea and cake which was nice.
The room was clean and comfortable with all the essentials. The en-suite had a shower, sink, toilet and small heater. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed (2 singles pushed together for a double), small TV/DVD unit, tea/coffee making and a small fridge with a jug of fresh milk and a couple of small bottles of water.
Even though this is a working farm it was pretty quiet, and although we thought otherwise we didn't in fact get woken up early by the farmyard animals! We saw cows, geece, chickens, ducks and a very friendly dog.
Breakfast was excellent, cereals and fruit followed by a cooked breakfast of your choice, with toast, orange juice and tea or coffee.
All in all a very nice place to stay, well situated close to Longleat as well as Frome and not far from Bath. There were a few pub/restaurants close by-we ate at Pizza Hut on a retail park containing a Sainsburys, McDonalds and KFC(only a few miles away from Mill Farm on the way to Frome). We would stay again.
