I have visited St Florence several times over the last 20 years but this was my first time at East Jordeston and it is just the prefect base for exploring Pembrokeshire. The cottages are beautifully renovated and Sandra is such an enthusiastic host. we stayed in Y Preseb, a delightful stone cottage which we found cosy as a couple, though it could accommodate 6 comfortably, such was the thought behind the layout. The kitchen looked out onto a field where we saw one of this year's fox cubs strolling while in the next field the owners' Jacob's sheep were unpurturbed by their ginger visitor. We had one wet day and the log burner proved to be extremely efficient, otherwise the weather was good and we explored St Florence, Tenby, Manorbier and beyond. I sincerely hope we will keep returning.
