We stayed for 5 days and loved every second of it!
When we arrived we were greeted by John who led us to our room,
We stayed in the deluxe room which was like a small apartment, the bed was incredibly comfy, the room was very tidy. The view of the loch is simply stunning!

For breakfast you had the usual full breakfast and veggie breakfast but also cereals, yoghurt, make your own muesli, toast, home made bread (a must try) and a new option everyday i.e. french toast, pancakes etc.

Right outside the breakfast area was bird feed which welcomed lots of weird and wonderful birds of all spieces a welcome view during breakfast.

Other things worth noting:

John and Glenn are very welcoming and friendly, offering fantastic advice to sightseers.

Transport - if you dont have a car i advise you hire one, everything is spaced out and impossible to walk to, it costs around £12-16 in a taxi to inverness (off peak) and the bus is only once every 2 hours (4 buses a day each way)

Wifi - free wifi on site plus conputer for guests,

Wildlife - i spotted many birds, deer and red squirrels, there were sightings of golden eagles, sparrow hawks and pine martins whilst i was there

TV - freeview channels and built in dvd player

Overall - excellent in everyway, the true loch ness/scottish experience

We had a very long but scenic drive to this B&B and I was exhausted and quite frazzled from the drive, but more about that later. So when we arrived to see a spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated room all my stresses and tiredness just melted away. John and Glen had thought of everything! There was a lovely vase of daffodils on the window ledge, plenty of towels, fresh milk in the fridge and 2 delicious cupcakes in the room waiting for us to make a cup of tea.
The bed was super comfortable, the sheets fresh and smelt divine and the pillows just perfect. The room was spacious and the bathroom huge!
We could see the loch through the trees and despite the pouring rain we headed out for a lovely walk along the waters edge.
The breakfast next morning was so delicious, especially their home made bread!! Glen was super lovely and chatting to him was a great start to the day.
I highly recommend you stay here, you will love it.
My only gripe is that it would be helpful to know beforehand that the road leading to it from Fort William is for about 13 miles so narrow and curvy that it can be quite slow going. It didn't help that it snowed and we had hired a tiny car that really struggled. You could tell who the locals were as they were coming toward us at high speed and I really wasn't comfortable despite the beautiful scenery. We left via Inverness which is a much better road.

Everything about Pottery House is just wonderful. Beautiful room, spacious bathroom, home made cupcakes, fresh milk and iced water in the fridge - wow! I had the best night's sleep I have had for years in the comfiest bed and heavenly peace and quiet. Everything was exceptionally clean and our hosts were welcoming and friendly. We have already recommended this lovely B&B to friends and family and were only sorry we could not have stayed longer. One of the real highlights of our first trip to Scotland. Thank you so much.

Absolutely delightful little B&B on Loch Ness. Pottery House ticks all the boxes. Great rooms with lots of little luxury touches, especially enjoyed the lovely bathrobes provided. Fabulous location on the shores of the Loch, with great views. John and Glenn were wonderful hosts and the breakfast was delicious. The only downside for us was that we had not booked for longer. Exceptional value for money. KFG

I loved staying at this B&B! We stayed in the back room and had a view of the back garden with a view of the garden, pond and chicken coop out of our bathroom window. It was decorated beautifully, large, with a private, huge bathroom. Big white fluffy bathrobes were provided and the bed was the most comfortable bed my husband and I slept in the whole trip! There was also a large closet with a mini-fridge. Glen and John provided water, milk, tons of coffee, tea and hot chocolate, as well as two delicious lemon cupcakes!

We had to arrive earlier than the typical 4:30 time to get into the rooms, but Glen and John were quite flexible, allowing us to drop our bags early, then we were on our way to sightsee. There is a great restaurant about a five minute walk down the road (The Dores Inn) with a great view of the entire Loch from the Dores Beach.

Glen and John cooked a fantastic breakfast the next morning. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, the bacon and sausage delicious, the bread and jam homemade, and the eggs were from the chickens in the backyard! I tried the haggis, but I just don't like it--the other couple there assured me that it was cooked perfectly.

There were booklets provided in the room with plenty of activities listed within, as well as detailed information about the B&B's policies and commitment to the environment--they try to run the B&B in the most environmentally friendly and sustainable way possible!

If you're going Nessie hunting, definitely consider staying here!
