We had a very long but scenic drive to this B&B and I was exhausted and quite frazzled from the drive, but more about that later. So when we arrived to see a spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated room all my stresses and tiredness just melted away. John and Glen had thought of everything! There was a lovely vase of daffodils on the window ledge, plenty of towels, fresh milk in the fridge and 2 delicious cupcakes in the room waiting for us to make a cup of tea.
The bed was super comfortable, the sheets fresh and smelt divine and the pillows just perfect. The room was spacious and the bathroom huge!
We could see the loch through the trees and despite the pouring rain we headed out for a lovely walk along the waters edge.
The breakfast next morning was so delicious, especially their home made bread!! Glen was super lovely and chatting to him was a great start to the day.
I highly recommend you stay here, you will love it.
My only gripe is that it would be helpful to know beforehand that the road leading to it from Fort William is for about 13 miles so narrow and curvy that it can be quite slow going. It didn't help that it snowed and we had hired a tiny car that really struggled. You could tell who the locals were as they were coming toward us at high speed and I really wasn't comfortable despite the beautiful scenery. We left via Inverness which is a much better road.
