“BRILLIANT WEEKEND”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

What can I possibly say that has not already been said.
Jill and David are the best hosts that you could have, nothing is too much trouble.
They are both very friendly and welcoming.
We had car trouble and David got in touch with the local mechanic. Car fixed no problem.
The B&B is in the heart of a very beautiful and very friendly village.
There is everything that you could want.
Myself and my daughter stayed at Los Arcos for three nights, just wish it could have been longer.
Will definitely recommend to anyone.
I can guarantee you will not regret it.

“Truly hidden gem in a lovely village”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012 via mobile

We wholeheartedly agree with all the other fantastic reviews for Los Arcos and we are so glad we found this wonderful gem on Tripadvisor. Jill and David are great hosts who both work so hard to make your stay special in their beautiful, tastefully renovated house on the church square. Our room was large with quality fittings and furniture and a lovely terrace. Los Arcos is spotlessly clean, Jill is a fantastic cook and David a great driver, guide and waiter! David collected us at Granada railway station and the 2 hour drive through the beautiful mountains was well worth the journey. We felt like royalty being served drinks & dinner, cooked by Jill and served by David, on their large rooftop terrace with stunning views over the mountains. The absolute highlight of our 3 week travels in Andalusia! Breakfast is lovely with fresh fruit, yoghurts, jams, marmalades and fresh bread, pastries & croissants that David walks to the bakery to get every morning. Valor is a beautiful village with plenty of walking opportunities, friendly people, a lovely municipal pool (open July & August) and great tapas bars. We stayed for 8 nights and can genuinely not thank Jill and David enough for making our stay so special. We would not hesitate in recommending Los Arcos to everyone we know. Fantastic stay.

“Fantástico!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

With the risk of sounding really gushy, I couldn't have had a better time staying at Los Arcos. Jill and David were the perfect hosts, incredibly welcoming and helpful. David printed out walking directions for us and suggested nearby hikes and day trips. Jill is a fantastic cook, and we had one of the nicest meals of our holiday sitting on their terrace watching the sun set.

Our room was spacious and keeping the doors to our little balcony open made sure it was nice and cool. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit salad and pastries, and we had some good nights out at the local bars and restaurants.

I can't recommend Los Arcos highly enough. Jill & David, if you are reading this, thanks again for a great stay.

“Little hideaway gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

I would thoroughly recommend a stay here to anyone. The B&B is so well- equipped and perfect for those who only travel with hand-baggage. Jill and David are extremely welcoming, very helpful and caring. I spent two nights here at the start of a walking trip and both hosts were able to provide lots of very useful advice on both the long and short routes around the area. I really wish I'd planned to spend a lot more time in the area, but left promising myself a return visit.

“Lovely stay in lovely village”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

Stayed with David for two nights(Jill was in UK)and enjoyed it immensely. He is a great host and coped very well on his own.Shame we couldn't sample Jill's cullinary delights!!!
Room and whole place was well presented and the breakfasts were excellent.
Valor was a delight.Lovely walks(short,it was HOT) and a surprisingly busy night life(country style).
Drove up to Trevelez ,and as the rest of the area, beautiful scenery
Would definitely return for a longer stay.
