We have stayed at John and Mary's as a Family on a number of occasions in the large two bedroomed family suite and also as a couple in one of the beautiful double suites. The accommodation is second to none, it really is an exceptional Guest House. The whole place is finished to a high decorative standard and the furnishings are exemplary. The large lounge/dining /bar area is very comfortable and welcoming. Outside is a beautiful pool with absolutely stunning scenery over 360 degrees, we enjoyed tapas and drinks on the terrace from the outside bar on quite a few occasions! John and Mary are the ultimate hosts, with a good knowledge of the local area. Mary is a keen runner and can arrange guided walks/runs on the local routes if required. The food is excellent too!! Well worth a visit, we can't stop returning!!

Stayed this April.Cannot recommend highly enough this Guest House,stunning scenery and views, excellent rooms,ultra clean and tidy,John and Mary made the perfect hosts,always on hand for anything needed,and information on the beautiful surrounding area,food superb from local dishes to sunday roasts. If your ideal holiday is a peaceful get away from it all we recommend you go here,you will not be disapointed,we will be visiting again.

Anyway, this place is awesome - it's away from the crowds and just a perfect setting to get away from it all. My husband loved the running/walking tracks and I loved sitting by the pool doing very little!! The views are truly awesome.

Mary's cooking is what everyone says it is - seriously good.

Mary and John as hosts, are very warm and gracious without being in your face - When I first met Mary and John, I felt I had known them for years - a special quality!

We stayed with John and Mary for 5 days - the weather and hospitality was perfect. Thank you Mary and John : ) We will never forget our stay with you...you were sooooo lovely and had some amazing stories to tell.

Having spent a weekend in Casa La Ladera we have planned another 3 trips. Mary and John are excellent hosts, Mary could not do enough to ensure we had a wonderful time. The bedrooms are immaculate, the openplan livingroom has a large well equipped bar and there is a lovely pool on the terrace with spectacular views. A BBQ has now been built for those warm summer evenings. For hikers there are endless walks with Mary´s knowledge and guidance to really appreciate this area of Spain.
