We were there for a friend's wedding with our three children. The location and decor of this establishment are stunning. It is a beautiful location for a small wedding. A family room in a B&B is rare. However for babies/toddlers it is not ideal. A travel cot was supplied but the bottom sheet was not fitted and was barely big enough to tuck so it slipped away as soon as was bub in bed. Bring your own sheets. Beware, there are stairs everywhere! The high chair is an old solid timber chair that is a work of art but not entirely hygienic and was unsafe with no belt and no bar between the legs to prevent slipping out under the tray. Everyone raved about how sweet it looked. I'm a mum first so I saw it differently. Before we had a chance to comment, we were told that it was good enough for their babies and the fact that it didn't meet safety was our problem. It was said in jest but there was a undercurrent of truth. Finally, on our second day the hostess was upset with me for moving the high chair without lifting it. It is quite heavy! She was upset about the floors (which were clearly not recently polished with heavy wear and tear in high traffic areas). Still she did not hesitate to blast me in front of friends and other guests. It was humiliating. I left in tears. Perhaps she was having a bad morning as breakfast was running late. I meant no harm and didn't deserve to be spoken to in such a manner. We felt unwelcome and decided to leave straight after breakfast. They still charged us for the night we didn't use!
