“Best Holiday Ever”

We chose to stay at the Casa Escocia as it promised to provide both adventure and calm. This was certainly the case and our 3 young children were never without something exciting to do. Rob, Mary, Nicole and Lara made us very welcome and their house was comfortable and spacious. Mary cooked some delicious meals for us and the fresh bread each morning was wonderful.
The boys especially enjoyed their day out mountain biking when Rob and Mary took them high up the scenic mountains. Also the village pool proved very popular and we spent lots of time there. The local restaurants offer tasty meals and we enjoyed a few nights out. Mary and the girls joined us for a day at the beach in Almerimar which was fun.
Best of all, we were lucky enough to be part of the Valor Festival which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Enormous plates of paella were handed out and later there was a brilliant foam party afterwards. A fab day out.
We would not hesitate to recommend this holiday and hope to return here.

I recently spent an amazing week at Casa Escocia. Rob and Mary were the perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome. As a keen mountain biker, this was the place for me. the bike rides were excellent and Robs enthusiasm was an inspiration. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

“Just Beautiful”

i stayed at casa escocia with my young niece for a week. i have visited the region a few times now but this is by far the best place i have stayed in. i love relaxing on the terrace with its amazing views. my niece could not get enough of the local swimming pool which is fabulous for kids and adults alike. i never tire of the wonderful sound of the bells in the morning as the local shepherd takes his sheep into the mountains. met some lovely other guests and i just wish i was a bit younger and fitter so i could join them on their mountain bikes. mary and rob are lovely hosts and i will be back. thanks for a fantastic week.

The accomodation is great. Rob and Mary are fantastic.
If you want to take part in an accitivity, sample the local food or simply have a quiet night on the porch it is cattered for with no fuss, it is all there for you.
We had a great time and would recomend it to anyone.
Quite simply fantastic.

“Holiday heaven!”

Have just spent a week at the wonderful Casa Escocia. Stunning views, amazing mountain bike riding, fantastic food (thanks Mary!), wine tasting and marvellous company provided by the Gray family made this a holiday to remember. There are plenty of things to do and see in the surrounding area and Rob and Mary were more than willing to give advice on where to go. The terrace is a great place to chill out with a glass of wine and tapas after a day's activities!

Thanks to Rob and Mary for an amazing holiday, we'll be back!
