If you don't like enclosed spaces or climbing steep steps that have more in common with a ladder than what you'd find in your house then you may wish to bypass this windmill.
But for the rest of us, it's a fascinating little place. It's not country mansion so you won't be here all day but to get up close with the workings of this place makes for a great visit.
You climb to the top then work your way back down. It's small and cramped and so does not take many visitors to make it crowded - something my wife found a little off-putting being a true country lass, but my time in the cities meant it did not bother me so much.
To top it all off, the chap in the shed/ticket room and shop seemed genuinely happy to be there and share the windmill with everyone.
Well worth a nose.
