Myself and my partner recently stays that the Abercrave Inn, and were very pleased with the freindly welcome, clean and tidy room, excellent choice of menu and all very good value.
I must admit that the website for the hotel/inn is a little "busy" (www.abercraveinn.co.uk), and when I submitted a booking request via their website, and got a reply - but with no name signing off the reply. So I was unsure who had actually replied.
So I was a little anxious about how the stay was going to be. I need not have fretted as I have already said they were the perfect hosts, and I would definately stay again.

Thank you
Alan

We had a gorgeous meal in the restaurant. The portions were very generous and I have to say, the garlic mushrooms were the best Ive tasted!!!! We stayed in a beautiful room which was spotlessly clean. We took a hot toddy to bed and had a fab nights sleep.
We are looking forward to staying here again.

Although the weather was not the best on the Beacons we had a great visit to this part of Wales.
Spent the day at Hay-on-Wye looking at lots of books in the town's many book shops.
The hotel was very comfortable, our room was above the bar and restaurant with some good views. The entrance to the room was a little different as we needed to go outside the building and enter over the roof of the kitchens. An entrance inside would have been nicer due to the inclement weather.
The evening dinner was excellent with a wide choice of dishes and wine.
All in all a great time with good accommodation, very pleasant dinner and tasty breakfast plus excellent staff, friendly and helpful.
Need to return to this lovely inn and tour the Beacons when the weather is on our side.

Room Tip: Talk to the Innkeeper.

Stayed over night while exploring Brecon, ideal location for setting off from. The room was lovely and cosy (room 7) with possibly the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. The restaurant and staff were very welcoming with a delicious menu and all fairly priced. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: room number 7 Basic room but decorated beautifully.
