L’Olivio Piegato (Crooked Olive) is a beautiful 'boutique' B&B nestling in the hills of northern Tuscany - http://www.olivopiegato.com/ Bags of style and luxury are packed into this sensitively renovated stone farmhouse with stunning views. Lunigiana is a relatively unknown part of Italy but worth a visit if you want to experience the real rural Italy. The English hosts, Eva and Chris are very warm and welcoming – I had a glass of prosecco in my hand within five minutes of arriving! – and they’re passionate about their adopted home. This was my second visit and is definitely not my last. PS You probably need to like dogs - there are two and they're lovely!
