Wish we had been able to stay longer.
The Alona beach is a bit small. There are a lot of people on the beach, making it crowded. But according to those who went to Boracay, Alona is considered much less crowded. If you are adventurous enough, explore the island, there are some much less crowded beaches as they are less known. For food and boat packages, Alona beach is the place. The touts are ok, not tat aggressive and do respect people's privacy.
Alona beach wasn't what I thought the sand was lovely and clean and white but the beach it's self was quite small ,maybe I was expecting something thing like boracay so at first was disappointed ,we stayed at the resort for 12 nights maybe too long in n one place
Best beach in whole Island, white sand beach, diving activities, snorkeling, ideal for kids, family, or honeymoon. Several resorts hotels and food options. Very affordable.
A place with life and "things going on"!!!! Really cosy, and if you like to dive, this is paradise!!!!
