“Loved the stay at the resort's main section. Very friendly and helpful staff...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

We had a nice stay in spite of not being able to do any tours since hubby got ill after we arrived.

The resort has a lovely swimming pool, good food and drinks served by the ever attentive restaurant staff. Excellent room service. Our room at the main section of the resort where we were upgraded to on our second night was totally nicer, thanks to the front desk staff and his manager for kindly making the arrangements. Next time we'd directly book a room at the main section.

There's a deli shop and the Biergarten nearby where we enjoyed going to for breakfast, then walking on to the beach less than 5 minutes away. That part of Panglao has changed very much since my last stay at Bohol Beach Club which i was told does not exist anymore. More hotels and resorts, restaurants, dive shops, souvenir shops, small convenience stores, banks and ATMs, 'habalhabals' and tricycles waiting, etc.

Afraid to go to Bohol because of the earthquake impact? Well, we have made most of our travel arrangements between Jan. and March and were later worried about going to Bohol after the earthquake which had affected Bohol and Cebu. We almost decided not to go. Very happy that we did as the Panglao area was alright and still very beautiful. Till next time!

Thanks to all the staff of Panglao Regents!

Greetings from Siem Reap!

I spent 5 nights in this hotel and really liked it. It looks like, this is one of the finest holiday properties in Panglao.
My room was spacious and quiet, even though it was located right in front of the fitness centre .
The restaurant is a bit pricey (by Panglao standards), but the food was good.

Location is the only thing not to be praised, 'cause the hotel is in ca. 10 minutes walk from the beach and the road is dusty and crowded with nasty bikes. Be careful! To me, the area looked suspicious after dark, but may be I'm being too nervous.

However, it may be not too bad to stay in a short distance from the beach, to avoid all the late night 'fun' there.

A great Hotel for my weeks stay in Panglao, Bohol.
I found this hotel to be centrally located and a easy 5 mins walk to the beach and 50 meter walk from a abundance of various restaurants, bars and shops.
My room was extremely comfortable, large, well maintained and very clean. There is a resort restaurant (and bar) open for breakfast lunch and dinner every day, and i found the food there to be awesome, tasty and delicious no matter what i ordered and at any time of the day or night. Indoor or outdoor Dining at this resort offered top value for money with every meal delicious, faultless and memorable taste sensation. The staff at this property were always so accommodating, helpful and friendly, from the General resort manager to cleaners to the reception staff, the food and beverage staff, porters and even grounds people, all couldn't do enough for you to ensure your stay was pleasant and memorable. Great hospitality !! Bravo guys ............. well done thank you !!

I would highly recommend the Panglao Regents Park resort to any and all holiday makers and travelers visiting Bohol and Panglao. Thanks again !!

Room Tip: request a room poolside as this hotel also has a seperate annexed wing across the road. I found the...

This is a great place to stay. After a week on Alona Beach in a beach bungalow it was very nice to move in to Panglao Regents Park and stay in a comfortable hotel room. We stayed in a Standard room which was very spacious and clean, with cable TV, hot shower, big beds, AC and more. Our friends stayed in a what I think was called a Standard Deluxe which was maybe 20-30 meters closer to the pool but was much smaller than our room.

The staff said that the free WiFi would probably only work around the pool and restaurant but we had great connection even in the room. The large pool was great and also the sun beds. The food was pretty alright too and from the resort it only takes about five minutes to walk to the beach. But who needs a beach full of dive boats when you can enjoy the great pool.

The only weird thing was that the staff wouldn't take our postcard and mail it for us even though it had stamps and everything. Shouldn't a hotel provide that service? Besides that the staff was very helpful.

Overall it was a great hotel and I recommend it.

Room Tip: Standard Deluxe are just a little bit closer to the pool but smaller than the Standard rooms.

The Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the beach and numerous bars and restaurants at Panglao Beach and therefore very convenient without being in the midst of the somewhat over touristy and slightly tacky beachside.
Rooms are of good size and equipped with basic but very adequate furnishings and good aircon and fan. The bathroom is clean and neat and fittings are of good quality. Towels are regrettably small, harsh and definitely off white, but this is no doubt due to the quality of the local water. daily room service and cleanliness of rooms was very good, although sometimes did not occur until rather late in the day.
The restaurant and bar are excellent and the food of very good standard and very reasonably priced. The pool and its surrounds and furnishings are impeccably maintained and very refreshing and the fully equipped gym is an unexpected bonus for a resort of this size.
Service throughout my week's stay was superb, with very friendly and attentive staff, who continually were greeting guests with a courteous "Good morning / afternoon Sir" and a happy smile.
The Hotel was still suffering from the recent earthquake, with no power and reliant on a generator during restricted hours, but standards were maintained despite the difficulties which these restrictions must have caused.
The Resort offers very good quality for a very reasonable price and, having looked at other much more expensive resorts in the vicinity during my stay, I can say with confidence that it offers excellent value for money by comparison.

The food was excellent at their restaurant, the room was clean, a/c worked great, there was hot water in the shower and the pool area was very attractive. It's one of the better places I've stayed in The Philippines. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. It is off the main road so there is less noise, but we were in the annex which faces right onto the road and the noise from the motorcycles and loud trucks kept me awake. ( I live in the country in the US and we hear nothing except the wildlife at home so the noise bothers me.) I would stay here again but only if I could get one of the rooms in the back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the back if noise bothers you.
