We stayed here for two nights while on a motorbike rally. This is NOT a hotel. It is a bed and breakfast plain and simple. The rooms are extremely clean and roomy. The beds are superbly comfortable. The one member of staff when we saw her was delightful. However the place was like the Marie Celeste, no one was ever around. They have no guest lounge. They have no bar other than the mini bar in the room, so we could not get coffee or tea. The overall feeling we had was that although we were most welcome to use the bedrooms they did not want to see guests otherwise - hence the very well stocked minibar. 'Stay in your room' or 'go outside' was the feeling we got. The room we had was on the road side of the building and although they were tall trees and bushes acting as a sort of buffer, we could hear traffic constantly from 5.00am!
The price of the room was high in comparison to other places locally with more facilities to offer.
We would stay there again IF WE HAD TO, but we would prefer to stay somewhere where we could interact with the staff and other guests more and where there was more service and a lounge.
