“Very good”

I visited this hotel in the heart of the summer (July 2014). I am very satisfied with the service and the quality of the food. About the rooms are comfortble and clear. The hotel is close to Katakolo, just 20 min through walking. Sure I will recomend to my friends.

Between 08/22 and 08/27 I was visiting some friends in Greece on a trip around the Aegean (friends lived in Pirgos) and found this nice little hotel (40-45 rooms I think) in Katakolo.

I was definetely surprised.. It had decently sized rooms with a great pool and incredible staff... Since I could've gone to the pool at any time, I decided on heading to the beach. MY KIDS LOVED IT. It's very shallow and you could easily walk 2-3 hundred feet and still be only about knee high. There is also 3-4 miles of uninterupted beach that is quite nice for a relaxin stroll at sunset.

After the beach, I decided to try the food. The Ithaka Restaurant was a nice little treat. Freshly cooked meals (I ordered a veal fillet a la creme) with a pretty decent local white wine.

All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for nice accommodations at a low price

PS THE STAFF WAS GREAT. This kind of staff is rarely found at this price, and should be applauded.

Room Tip: The west heading rooms have a great view of the sunset... Ask Mr Vangelis, the OWNER if he has any a...

I visited hotel for 4 days 6-9 June with my family. I went with offer 45 euros per day including breakfast and one meal in buffet.
Room was showing its age but was ok, had small fridge, tv only. First night i had to deal with mosquitos as the room was full, i measured killing at least 10 the next day after my son was biten heavily. Bath was small but palce to take a shower too small barely could fit and not make mess. Bathroom door could not full open cause was getting blocked from toilet. The bed mattress was too hard and uncomfortable for sleep same as pillows
Breakfast had only the basics and was medium taste with minimum variety. Bread wasnt fresh (if someone would go to nearby bakery would take grades of better bread), only french coffee, cold only milk, cheese, ham, cereals and marmelade. First time in a breakfast hotel didnt see omelets and sausage
Dinner buffet was average, no variety same 4/5 dishes every day 3 of which were vegeterian kind, was looking and tasted bad.
Pool was not open and generally seemed like the hotel is not fully open for the season.
Internet was not working in the rooms only in the main sitting area, stated to personnel from the first day but never fixed.
The location of the hotel is nice, 50m from the beach and near the transport means to pirgos, beaches and ancient olympia.
The hotel personnel and owner were friendly and helpful.
For the price i paid was fair for what you get, dont forget is a 2 stars hotel for all what means this

I visited Odysseas in july 2013 and stayed for 10 days. The hotel had a very friendly and helpful staff, the food was excellent and my room was very clean with soft fresh towels.I did a lot of small trips around the area(the hotel is very close to ancient olympia a must place to visit in greece). The hotel pool was an great place to relax after my full day of sightseeing. Also to mention is the big sandy beach that is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel.I will revisit odysseas this year and i recommend anyone that will be in the area to do so as well as its an amazing place to stay.Efkaristo!!!

Stayed one night for 50 euros. Not bad, clean rooms, however the hotel shows its age.
Breakfast was a little poor, but had all the basics to start the day and fill your stomach.
Close to bus service for city of Pyrgos, Ancient Olympia, Katakolo and other beaches on the area.
