“Excellent paella”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

We have not visited this restaurant for several years but we will certainly go back next year. We had a late lunch on a wet cool market day. We sat inside and our food and drink order was taken promptly. The food took a long while to come but was worth the wait, we had a noodle paella which was excellent, however as there only seemed to be three staff working it took a while to get their attention to be served the rest of the paella. I would normally do this myself but the dish was not placed beside the table as seems to be the norm. All in all a lovely lunch, good value but took a while. I normally wouldn't mind this but there is only so long two young children will sit for!!

“Won't be back”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

The restaurant setting & decor drew us in for what we hoped would be a high quality meal. Initially the service was good, but then the food arrived with one of our meals missing. Now mistakes happen & we took a relaxed attitude to this whilst the waitress tried to rectify her (acknowledged) mistake. Three wrong dishes later & uncooked chicken persuaded us the eating elsewhere was probably wise.

“Wonderful Meal....again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

It was 4 years since we had been to this restaurant and when I saw it was about 42 on T.A. I thought it may of gone downhill but we decided to give it a go as we'd been before a couple of times. Tables - I prefer sitting inside as it's cooler, more room and not as 'hectic' outside. Me and the Mrs both went for pate starter and salmon and mussels for mains (they now do pizza which kept the bairn happy) and everything was beautiful. The house wine was lovely and reasonable in price. The service from the lasses was v good. Still can't get my head round how it's only 42nd on T.A. but each to their own. We'll hopefully be back in the future.

“Disappointed with poor service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

My boyfriend and I decided that we wanted a good paella so after coming here last year we thought here was the perfect place. We were both thoroughly disappointed. The food was great; the paella didn't disappoint however the service was terrible - unlike when we came last year. We were stuck outside on a table in the corner which was sat in front of somebody's entrance to their apartment. They kept coming in and out and we felt very isolated. It took 15 minutes for us to finally order our drinks as they forgot that we hadn't ordered them yet. We ordered the paella for 2 and they only brought a paella for one even though it clearly states on the menu that paella is minimum 2 people. The waiter then brought us sparkling water when we clearly asked for still water and then I had to go and find somebody to hand the bill to.
After such an amazing experience last year, I was disappointed with the service and will definitely think twice about coming here next year.
