“Horrible beds!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

Fortunately I just stayed one night in this hotel as I had business meetings the next day. The room has a good size but the beds are really hard (I could hardly sleep all night long), the A/C does a lot of noise and I heard some other weird noises during the night. Old decoration. Staff is nice.

We stayed for night as we had a business meeting early morning. As we went to bed the room next door had people drinking and being very loud! The walls are too thin that we could not sleep. There'a no cold water in the showe (burns!). I don't think they have king size beds as we were placed in a room with 2 twin size beds (which are hard as a rock, I usually like hard mattresses, but these are just extra hard and noisy). The area is not the best located as there's houses at the back with barking dogs all night. I would just recommend staying in one of the hotels on periferico de la juventud avenue as they're about the same price and way better and more comfortable. Also, hotel smells as it is an older facility.

I searched all over for a hotel in mu budget before our trip. I found the best deal straight from Best Western site where they offered a stay two nights get one free deal. The shower is big, gets hot fast and the water pressure is better than at home in Colorado. The picture of the bulky tv is not accurate as we had a flat screen, wall mounted in our room and in my husband's brother's room as well. We ordered room service twice. The fettucine was okay. Creamy but had strips of ham in it. Breakfast room service was delicious. We ordered red chilequiles and green chilequiles and also flourentine omelet. All delicious although green was too spicy, at least according to my Mexican brother in law. Cofee is available 24 hrs complimentary which is conveniant. The room is spacious and I especially loved the full mirrors on the closet sliding doors. We went to the pool late about 7-9 and it was us and one small family. The pool is lighted and heated. There is not a hot tub. The smaller square at front of pool is same water just not deep, for kids. Hotel staff was pleasant. Sometimes someone spoke english but other times had to order food, etc in spanish but no big deal. The location is very close to downtown. We even walked once we realized how close. Taxis are awesome and unbelievably fast. Overall, we will be back soon and will definately stay at Mirador again.

BW Chihuahua located closed to airport for a small location is well design with all amenities a Bussiness traveler require. Hotel staff friendly and professional. They will go the extra mile to accommodate you. On the hot chihuahua the pool is as an oasis. Close to hotel is a great restaurant. Pampas Alike a Brazilian eatery in the heart of Mexico. Excellent food. Great price and service. You may not go to chihuahua as a vacationing spot but if you go on Bussiness you may like this places. They have a Walmart you can ask for more under one roof right behind hotel. I know they are safety concern when traveling to Mexico. I didn't experience any problem as I visit and drove close to 1hr to Delicias Mexico another beautiful place.

Room Tip: Rooms by pool have a nice view morning/evenings

Normally we stay in one of the smaller hotels when visiting Chihuahua. But this time we decided on trying out our very first Best Western. Fortunately we were not disappointed.

The Mirador is an old-school 70s style hotel with the classic heated pool located in the middle of the complex. In usual Mexican fashion, tiles are the norm everywhere outside, and the room is carpeted in older patterns that show the date of the place.

The service however is excellent. Not to mention that their breakfast buffet is by far one of the better ones out there these days.

Room is big and the bathroom has a very large sized shower, easy enough for two people to fit in. Also, the in-room heating and cooling system works very well, too well almost. We had to try and cool down the room early on, even though it was December keeping the room warm was not a problem.

Location is very good, we walked to downtown Chihuahua and the outdoor mall within ten minutes, maybe fifteen at the most. Even though there is some street construction going on currently, it still is easy to navigate our way south the half mile to all the action.

Room Tip: Get a room towards the back of the hotel. Universidad Avenue is busy and I am sure you can hear the...

This Hotel is the best hotel close to the city's center, which is being renovated for the future. The staff is really nice and they took the time to make sure I was comfortable.
I stayed there for 3 nights and whenever I go to Chihuahua, which is often, this hotel is always my first choice.
The new pool is amazing and I am happy it is now indoors.
The hotel is always spot free clean, which is very important for me and their breakfast buffet is delicious.
