After staying at one of the Q Hotels I was left an information leaflet in my room giving offers for Easter. One was to stay at this hotel for 2 nights over Easter 2 adults and 2 children with 1 nights evening meal inclusive, however after looking at what there was to do in the area we decided to book for 3 nights. Lucy the reservations lady bent over backwards to help me as they were full, she then booked us in a suite with 2 rooms for no extra cost and we ended up paying £224 for the 3 nights. The hotel is modern, light and airy although I think our rooms were ready for redecorating as seeing some of the other rooms they were more updated. But we couldnt complain. The food in both the Adderley and Hathaways restaurant was second to none and both had a different feel to them. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay a great one. There is a driving range there and you are made most welcome (unlike some golfing hotels). Swimming pool and gym are only small but very clean. Overall I would definitely re-visit as not only was it a great stay but within 10 mins drive of Drayton Manor, 20 mins to the snow dome, 30 mins from Warwick Castle and Stratford upon Avon. We will hopefully go back next Easter!

A sensible choice when visiting the NEC

We stayed at the hotel on Sunday 17th April whilst visiting Birmingham to see Kylie Minogue at the NEC. The hotel was about 8 miles further up the M42 so just right.

The room was clean, tidy and functional. Only small negative point is the hotel is not on mains drainage and so when you used sink or bath the water took ages to drain away.

As this was a fleeting visit we had room service in the afternoon and again after we got back from the concert. The food was hot and delivered in good time and very good value for money.

The breakfast was very nice the next morning with all the usual hot and cold items you would expect.

Very good value for money overall and if you were going to make use of the golf course and leisure facilities even more so.

Stayed at the Lea Marston for two nights last weekend through an Easter offer we saw on the website, which we thought was excellent value for money.
The room (double with ensuite) was adequately sized, clean and pleasantly decorated, and we found all staff to be helpful. The chocolates we had been promised in the room were not present on arrival, but we asked at Reception, and three Easter eggs appeared in our room later on!
Food was excellent, from the buffet breakfast in the morning (seriously, anything you could possibly want for breakfast was there!), to the Atrium restaurant, and also the pub-type grub in the Sportsman's Lounge was very good and reasonably priced.
The facilities were excellent - pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all clean and nicely situated overlooking the golf course. We also made use of the driving range, and pitch and putt, but unfortunately the tennis court was out of use.
Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this to anyone for a relaxing weekend break. It is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but we did drive to Kingsbury 3 miles down the road which had a couple of nice pubs. Having said that, you don't really need to leave the hotel, as it has such good facilities, and plenty of choice of food and drink available pretty much all day.

Not full of old worlde charm, but very clean with good facilities and surprisingly good restaurant. Nice, clean rooms. Only complaint; noisy slamming hotel doors. We were unfortunate enough to be on a corridor full of spoilt 15/16 year old 'prom' girls and boys (what WERE their parents thinking?!!) who ran between each others' rooms all night, each door slam waking me just as I'd got back to sleep - twice asked the hotel to sort them out but gave up and told them myself. ('It wasn't us' said the girl in her pajamas in the hallway). I notice that the one or two adults of their group made sure they didn't have to share the corridor....... The hotel shouldn't do these sort of mass bookings, as it is asking for trouble on many counts.
