Excellent for large groups and good value with friendly staff, this is located conveniently close to wineries. The rooms are jan picked with character, you feel like your visiting a country relatives house.

After reading the "way over priced" review after paying our deposit we were a bit scared of what we would find BUT were all very pleased to find our 2 bedroom cabin was very Clean and Tidy, yes some of the furniture was old, but that added to the character. The hamper provided gave us enough food with the limited stuff we brought to enable all four of us breakfast for three days so could not complain about that. The two bottles of local wine were a nice surprise too. This place is in a good location to allow exploration of all areas in the Hunter and we all would stay here again and would also recommend to anyone attending a concert at one of the wineries, as bus service provided from the end of the lane was excellent.

Room Tip: we stayed in cabin 5 which was a great outlook from the back balcony and nice to sit and chill with...

My fiance and I were so happy with our cottage! What a lovely place and a perfect location in the hunter valley! It is quite a walk to the wineries, but there is a bike service that will drop bikes off at your doorstep. We spent three days biking from winery to winery and it was so wonderful to be in our cozy little cottage!

Our stay at Lovedale Cottages was lovely. The cottage provided a relaxing and cosy midweek getaway, especially the log fire and spa!! The cleanliness & breakfast hamper was appreciated and we would definitely consider returning one day :-)
The resident dog Zen was great company whilst we played golf on the 9 hole course!!
Hunter Valley wineries and resturants are only 5-10 minutes drive away so Lovedale is the perfect location to stay.

Having stayed in many small weekend self cater cottages before, I am usually prepared for the dust, bed bugs, cobwebs, however this was a very pleasant surprise.

We arrived on Friday night, with a code for the electronic front door and discovered the CLEANEST cottage i've ever seen. We set the fire (logs and kindling were already sorted into size, cranked up one of the two person spa baths and the airconditioning, then had a very comfortable sleep.

Woke up to an amazing supply of bacon, eggs, toast, mushrooms, tomatoes, bread, milk, juice and ground coffee in the fridge ready to cook then enjoy on the balcony taking in the country air. Prior to heading off to some of the best wineries in the Country.

The granite kitchen was better equipped than our home and the 3 identical queensized bedrooms made it perfect for 3 couples to share as were the two bathrooms.

It's pseudo quaint, but because it was so well thought our and clean, they're definately the best little cottages in the Hunter Valley.

We will be back. - One very happy customer
