This is a very busy place-lots of tour buses -but should not be missed. Watch out if the baboons are about as they will take anything they fancy from you!
A great part of world history, and well worth a visit, but if you are driving yourself, then take the coast road and admire the views, and the spectacular cut away overhang that the road goes through (There is a Toll). Stop and see the Penguins and historic townships. then enjoy the park, complete with road blockages caused by roving baboons.
South Africa should be on everyones bucket list. The sights are something that everyone should experience.
If you come durring the week the place is almost deserted. The place makes you think of all the brave men who sailed around it in wooden ships ages ago on their way to Asia, the first one from Portugal in 1488 (Bartholomeo Diaz).
The landscape and the trails are wonderful!
I would surely suggest the excursion, better by car so that you can see both streets on both sides
