“An "All black weekend"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

Down for the Rugby. It is annoying that prices are always increased for these, there seems to be no loyalty for regular customers!Rooms are a little smaller here than other P Inns in Cardiff, standards were however very good, the food at the Beefeater is probably better than others. All staff were very good. The weather was not good and the path down from the Hotel to the Beefeater was covered in wet leaves, this could be very dangerous!

The rooms were comfortable but both the bed and bathroom were on the small side. Advice: stay at the Premier Inn just a couple of miles nearer Cardiff where although on a busier road, you can't hear the noise, the restaurant is within the complex and both the rooms and bathroom are a decent size. The food quality at the Beefeater just a minute away was very good, staff were attentive and polite.

Room Tip: I prefer the Cardiff North Premier Inn to this one and it's only a couple of miles away

We spent a lovely quiet night at this hotel and found the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable and we would definitely stay here again. The location is ideal for anyone wanting a quiet stay, there is plenty of parking and the nearby restaurant is perfect for a well priced breakfast.

This premier inn offered excellent value for money. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and there were extra pillows if needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub was lovely for dinner and breakfast. The staff there were pleasant and informative. I would recommend staying here. It was close to Cardiff for visiting.

Stayed at this hotel for the first time. Chose this one for parking and ease of access, plus appeared value for money. Not disappointed. Yes, this is one of the older Premier Inns, and the rooms are smaller than others, but, great location, clean, tidy, very good staff, good parking, and well worth staying there. Ate breakfast at the resturant which was ok.

Second visit to this hotel. Good parking for a big vehicle. All as you would expect but the rooms are somewhat smaller than more modern buildings although acceptable and with all the normal facilities. Restaurant is good with friendly service. Try to avoid front facing ground floor rooms because they can be noisy until the adjoining Pub closes
