Service was good, prompt friendly and courteous. We tried this place because in the guide book it said "Classic and fun Japanese dining" and they listed tempura as one of the dishes. There was one tempura dish on the menu, but it was marked unavailable. Staff described the portions as "Tapas style" and that was accurate. Most dishes we ordered came as several pieces and were good for sharing. .
We tried the crab cakes (good, but more potato taste than crab in my opinion), chicken wings teriyaki style, squid calamari rings, rice and the salmon with vegetables cooked at the table. Food was ok. Best dish by far was the salmon.
Pool and darts available downstairs. Cozy seating for dinner upstairs. Bar area downstairs as well. Can see how this would be a nice place to go out for drinks to.
