“a fairytale place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

Good day!
I'm from Romania, and previous summer I was planning a trip in Greece in island of Thassos, but driving almost 1000 km by one leg suppose to be tough task so I so looking for accommodation for one night under way.So I I found chaletsatpamporovovillage.com.That trip was canceled, but I was kept in my mind that location, and this winter I decide together my wife and another couple of friends to take it.So we made reservation for chalet#25 for five nights.I should say that I had a bad experience before taking for good pictures displayed on net,but this time view and everything were even more.Chalet was nice, comfortable and cozy, nothing to ask more for two couples.Site manager, mr.Peter K. was very helpful, providing us all info and directions what we need.
As a piece of advice,if you drive your own car or if you intend to rent one,in winter time a 4x4 is a must! All the best and enjoy your time at Pamporovo Village! Cristi

We stayed for three nights @ chalet# 25 (found via chaletsatpamporovovillage.com), during our snowboarding trip.
Very clean, well kept and warm... when the temp outside reached 9 below, a warm Chalet is just what the doctor ordered!
The manager Peter was very helpful and assisted us when required.
Excellent value, spacious and well recommended.

An integral part of our holiday that am happy to say I was very pleased with!

Mark

A quiet place to relax set high in the mountains and surrounded by beautiful snow covered fir trees. Away from the hub-bub but only 5 minutes drive from the slopes where all skiing abilities are catered for and at compatively low cost. The local people were marvellous and bent over backwards to help us and to ensure we had what we needed for the perfect stay. The staff had a log fire going for us when we returned from the slopes. The children were skiing in no time and thorough enjoyed themselves tobogganing too. On the negative side, the husky sleigh ride at the ski resort was a little brief and therefore not good value for money. The food at the village was good generally and good value for money. Elsewhere, I would recommend that you stick to local dishes, the Bulgarians have not mastered European food! That being said, we did not venture down to the main town of Pamporovo

I found this property on the Holiday Rentals section on TripAdvisor and found it to be highly recommended. We travelled as a group of four to go skiing from Belfast, we arrived at around 1.30am but this was no problem with the property manager who was up waiting for us. The service we received during our stay was excellent and we built up a great relationship with the friendly staff. They assisted us with any of our needs and also ran a bus service to the town which is about a 5 minute drive. The rate for this transport was very cheap.

We stayed in chalet 37. The chalet itself was very spacious with a brilliant open plan downstairs. There was a full kitchen with utensils and a cooker, communal eating area and large sofa. There is also a TV with a good range of channels and a large fire.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and an en-suite and the other has two single beds and a bathroom beside it. The chalet is well heated with radiators in every room. There is also a balcony from the upstairs rooms. There is an alarm system in place too.

On site there is a restaurant and bar which are very reasonable, there is also an outdoor pool and jacuzzi.

We had a brilliant time staying in Pamporovo village and our time there was helped by the staff and the comfort of the chalet. It was relaxing to come back from a full day of skiing and to put the fire on and enjoy the tranquility of the area. The location is close to many amenities but is also in a quiet and relaxing area.

My friends and I would recommend this chalet to anybody thinking of staying in Pamporovo.

Had a fab, fab time. Booked with www.forestnook.co.uk and stopped in Villa 19 which overlooked the pool and the mountain. Loved being a little bit away from the hustle and bustle but got to the slopes in 5 minutes. The staff were so friendly and made a fuss of the kids :) Also helped us to get the real fire going - lovely :)
Loads of space - massive downstairs circular room with dining table, kitchen, telly and DVD. Upstairs king size bed and a twin rooms. Sofa also turned into a double bed.

Restaurant was cheap, £1 a pint and £4 for a meal, Kavarma was delicious.

Was a bit worried about the snow but tipped it down week before, the slopes were almost empty and the kindergarten was great too.

a tip - don't eat at the top of the mountain - some will charge £8 - £10 for a pizza, go to the White Dog or the Markony at the bottom and you'll pay half that.

Definitely booking for next year, might try summer too.
