Cloisters were warmly recommended by friends and we found that they had not exaggerated at all. It is a peaceful place with wonderful hosts. We enjoyed the quietness of the room that is a result of the experience of Bob as architect who designed the guest house himself. In addition the weather was fine so we could take a walk to Port Vasgo with its beautiful scenery and make a trip around the Kyle of Tongue visiting the impressive Broch Dun Dornaigil.
All in all - a wonderful place to stay, highly recommended.

Room tip: We stayed at room 1 (which is even suitable for handicapped) but we think that all 3 rooms a equally recommendable.

Bob and Audrey have done a lovely job on converting this building. We arrived after a long day out and Bob was very helpful in booking us a table at the local inn for an evening meal
Our ensuite room was comfy and spotless. Our breakfast tale had lovely views over the bay at Talmine and the Rabbit Islands, and is set up with the most splendid breakfast service I have come across. I also had a grand view of another load of merry breakfasters on the well stocked bird table.
Breakfast itself was great and set us up for the day with no need for lunch.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Cloisters Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Bob and Audrey are very hospitable and provided a delicious breakfast. I would highly recommend The Cloisters. Thank you Bob and Audrey for everything. We hope to return sometime.

We spent abaut 10 awesome days at Cloisters, which is located absolutely perfect about twenty meters above the sea near the village Tongue. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. Even a TV and w-lan was included.
Sitting a the breakfast table, you have a beautiful view over the Kyle of Tongue, one day cannot start any better.
Big thanks to Audrey and Bob, who were so lovely and made our trip perfect.
