Have been twice now to this fab pub, tucked away in a village near Lutterworth. The landlord and landlady are lovely - friendly and chatty, the staff are pleasant and helpful. The food though - it's out of this world - great value and as tasty as you want, with changing specials. They do a carvery twice a week, which you'd need to book ahead for if you go on Sunday, with 11 veg as well as meat, and you can go back for more if you want. They also do one on a Wednesday which doesn't include lamb but is only a fiver. They do brew their own beer which is good, and are shortly to relocate the brewery to behind the pub with public viewing areas. There are tables outside and we shall be visiting when the weather gets warmer to test if it's as good to sit outside as it is to sit in front of the roaring log fire at this time of year...somehow I think it will be!
If you want a nice meal with friends or family, you could do a lot worse than try this place - I don't think you'll be disappointed. We will definitely be back again and again.
