This was the second time my husband and I stayed at Strawberry Fields. Kim and her family make us feel welcome every time. They were kind enough to share their family Christmas celebration with us, which included a ham, turkey, chicken and beef roast cooked in their very cool stone oven. The food is always the best in Jamaica (Big up to Sherry for her curry goat).
I can't describe how pretty this place is. I stayed in the Moonlight Magic room for the second time because after the first time I never wanted to vacation anywhere else. The room is very well equipped with a hot plate, dishes, coffee maker and refrigrator and sits on the cliff overlooking a private beach. No matter where you look out of the room you see paradise. The resort is in the country, so there are occasional water problems (but they will make sure you get what you need)
If you're a hiker or a birder this is a nice place to stay. Everton can take you on an ATV ride and the walk to the falls from black sand beach is spectacular. There are a lot of other activities that Kim can arrange.

Staying at Strawberry fields together gives you the feeling of basic feelings of comfortable stay in an ecological area with possibility of easy contact with other people and people of the community around the place. We concluded that we could stay here for months and....its even for u Europeans not expensive.

Our mission team enjoyed the rustic cottages right on the Caribbean Sea! It was a beautiful place to wind down each day after working in different towns. Kim and the staff were gracious hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. I was with my 10 year old son who was thrilled by the wonderful places to explore and the sea life to experience!

We were a mission team who went out to work everyday. When we got back to the cabins we usually left a little mud across the floor, but Kim's staff kept our cabins spotless! Everyone at S.F. went out of their way to be helpful. The food was great, pretty good Jamaican fare. For recreation when we came in at night some snorkeled, some did meditation on the platforms over the rocks and others swam at the beautiful beach. We had a wonderful stone oven pizza one night!!. One group went on a hike to the nearby water fall and thought it was gorgeous. The grounds are one of the most beautiful I've seen in Jamaica. The value is great. Give it a try.
