“Avoid by all means”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

First of all, this hotel is awfully place: forget about the announcement of it being in the Sicilian countryside; basically, it is built right by a gas station with tire repair facilities, including for trucks, in backyard. You can expect an unacceptable level of noise. As one might easily imagine, the promised quietness and idyllic location is mirage. Curiously enough, none of the comments mentions this awkward location – which is the most striking feature of the place. Secondly, avoid by all means if you’re travelling with children: we were travelling with our two sons, they gave us a standard room, already quite tight, with an extra queen bed – a standard room becomes thus converted into a family room; the hotel has simply no family rooms available. Thirdly, the room was incredibly shabby and the bathroom sort of smelly. We had to cancel our booking and leave the hotel. Simply unbearable! And, of course, they did not recognize the shortcomings and refused to refund the cancelled remaining nights. Friendly advice: don’t get nearby the hotel, you run having one of the worst experiences in a hotel.

Dear Pedro M,
we are very surprised to read your bad review about our Hotel since you stayed with us for only 15 minutes. We believe this time span is not enough to judge our Hotel, our staff and the service we offer.
Our Hotel is located in front of a gas station but all of our rooms face the Sicilian marble caves and have direct access to the swimming pool (which is especially designed for children!).
All of our rooms have their own balcony facing the country-side and some also have a view of Mount Erice. All of our rooms are sound-proof.
We gave you a 23 m² room with two queen-size beds. This is what we consider a fair family room.
We are located in a strategical position to visit the main attractions of Western Sicily (Erice, Segesta, San Vito Lo Capo, Scopello, Riserva dello Zingaro, Riserva del Monte Cofano and Trapani can be reached in 20 minutes by car).
We are sorry you could not enjoy your stay with us as you decided to leave our Hotel after 15 mins of your arrival!
Moreover according to our cancellation policy it was impossible for us to refund your not-refundable and prepaid reservation.

This hotel is a modern little gem in a rustic area of Sicily. The rooms are clean, and comfortable, the bathrooms are bright and modern (although the shower is a bit tiny by American standards). The pool is marvelous, and I spent way more time in it than I should have--could have done more sightseeing, but I was loving the water! Breakfast was a great big spread of fruit, pastries, local breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt, and granola. I liked the hotel so much, I came back at the end of my trip to Sicily and stayed one more night. Room prices are extremely reasonable, one might even consider them cheap. The only drawback was the view from my room, which faced the marble quarry in the mountain behind the hotel. But since I wasn't planning to spend much time in the room, it didn't matter to me.

Regretfully spent only the last night of our round trip of Sicily at this delightful and charming hotel.
Extremely warm welcome by reception with an enthousiastic introduction of the hotel and the facilities.
Despite the next days early flight to Amsterdam we were still offered breakfast before we setoff to the airport which is 35 minutes drive.
Comfy bed, large fridge, and super fast free wireless internet both in the room and around the pool.
No restaurant on site (during our stay) however reception directed us to a local restaurant Busito 2 Km's away. Great varied (not just pizza) tasting food at very reasonable rates.
Would recommend hotel for all wishing a base near Trapani airport or for this region. Friendly, relaxed and not a hotel with a hundred rules and regulations. You could drink your own wine/beer and smoke around the pool area.
Stayed June 2012 / 10 out of 10.

Room Tip: We booked for Euros 48 with a Booking.com flash deal.

The Family room was modern, spacious and always impeccably clean. There was never any noise or any disturbances so it's the ideal place to relax. The location of the hotel is very central and easily accessible to many tourists attractions. Breakfast is varied and so all in all this hotel is to recommend.

a warm, new, nice and young hotel ... well placed to visit the noth of sicily (near San Vito lo Capo, Erice, Segesta ... ). Big, clean and nice rooms in fron of a swimming pool you can use all time (even at night if the weather is hot enough!)
Incredibly nice staff, really helpful in their advices.

An incredible hotel after the first shock ... is just at the back of a gas station! But u forget it as soon as you entry in the hotel.

Absolutely recommendable!

We booked this place as it was within an hour of the airport, and had no difficulties making our flight on time. We used it as a base to explore the north west of Sicliy, and it was a perfect location for everything we wished to do. Although the hotel is based on a serice station, the enclosed courtyard with a pool made it feel like a holiday resort. The statf spoke good English and were very helpful. The free WiFi in the reception was also handy. The room was in good condition, and the design of the hotel was appealing. All in all, a very nice stay.
