The innkeepers were friendly and tried to make our stay comfortable. Unfortunately it was a cold night with inadequate heat. Even with the heaters at full tilt, thenroommwas not warm enough to take a shower. The rooms are dark, appointments folksy. The bathroom was dusty and towels were outdated. No hand towels or washcloths. Beds were comfortable and blankets ample. Dinner was goodmasnwas breakfast with attentive service. The approach to Le Perle is 1.2 kilometers which tests ones perserverance. It's an unpaved road with bumps, pot holes and a stream to ford which made our driver, good as he was, very anxious.

After a day in the Sahara, a camel trek, and a Berber tent stay, we were looking for a great change. This wasn't it! Yes, the management was lovely, friendly and tried to meet out needs. But the rooms, although very spacious, were dirty, no soap, hard and unpleasant towels and sheets and hard beds. Maybe it was good that it was dark in the rooms. The dining room and food was nicely presented. They even set up a propane heater in a private room for us and our 2 friends for breakfast when the power went off in the whole town in the morning. Maybe we would have a different experience in the warmer months when there are flowers blooming and we could use their pool.

When we saw that La Perle du Dades was located far from a city, we were worried where we would end up. But the hotel is absolutely gorgeous and first class. The owners put so much care into its construction and the rooms are lovely. The rather remote location makes it a perfect place from which to base hikes and explorations. We stayed in December and the hotel was warm and friendly. Highly recommend.

This has been one of the best places we stayed during our trip to Marrocco. Food was of excellent quality and the owners are extremely friendly and warm-hearted. We were travelling with three kids and got a lot of our staffed washed without any charge. Have a walk in the oasis nearby... it's really beautiful.

There were two things not ultimately percect: Water was only mildly warm but not hot in the shower/bath room. Secondly going to the hotel has been a pain. We had to go 30 mins/5km through a stone dessert which you could hardly call "street". After being in the car all the day and travelling futher the next day this was painful.

I spent one night in this beautiful place and I wish I could come back for a longer stay. The serenity, the clean air, the night sky, the snow covered mountains at the horizon, all this you need to see and feel to realize how beautiful this is. The small hotel has lovely hosts, good food, a home cinema, pool and more. The rooms are great, clean and fresh.

We stayed here -- unfortunately for just one night -- in late December. What a beautiful small hotel in a gorgeous location. The owners were friendly and hospitable, and were very accomodating to our needs. We'd love to come back for a week.

Interesting 4X4 river crossing to arrive at La perle! We enjoyed our one night at La perle du Dades, especially the ice cold beer upon our arrival after a hot day in the desert. Our room was comfortable and the meals plentiful. Nice spacious gardens, pool and common lounge areas.
