“Superb Hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2011

We came for a weekend with great expetation and we were not dissappointed . To get to the hotel from the airport is ok you need the no 186 to amstelveen and then the 199 to the hotel normally run every 10-15 minutes . The hotel is approx 30-40 minutes to the city of amsterdam but this was very easy to get to . You can get a bus right outside the hotel , however we got a 3 day transport pass( GVB travel card 15.50 euros each ) which gave us unlimited travel on bus , metro and tram but the bus from the hotel you can not use it on . However about a 5-10 minute straight walk away from the hotel you can get the metro very easily running every 10 minutes and takes you straight to the centre with lots of little stops in between which is fantastic . The hotel reception staff are extremely friendly and very helpful . The rooms are massive and very comfortable with plenty of storage for your clothing with a little mini bar built in ( needs filling though) . There is also a safe in the room with is fab and is easy to use . The bathroom is very large with 2 marble sinks , bath and separate shower and even a little pull out clothes line if required . There is also a built in hairdryer on the wall .The toilet is completely separate to the bathroom . The breakfast on the morning was a buffet style help yourself , which compromises of bread, different kind of spreads , fruit juice, coffee already on the tables , cereal , fruit , ham , cheese and also hot sausages , beans and eggs , it was excellent .
This hotel entrance is beautiful and very open and there is also an elevator to all floors . There is also a small bar and lounge which the bar tender is extremely friendly and polite .
As a whole if you dont mind an adventure to travel to the hotel via bus or metro this hotel is an ideal place and did not disappoint us and we can not wait to stay there again .

This hotel is located far from Amsterdam, and relatively close to the airport (though it cost me 40 euros in cab fare to get to Schiphol). It's a bit difficult to get to this hotel by bus from the city (70 minutes), and expensive by cab (60 euro).

A good (high-end) restaurant is associated with the hotel (note: service stops at 9PM), and hotel lobby is home to a small bar (note: open until midnight). A Dutch-style breakfast, available starting at 7AM, is included with the room. No other eating establishments are within walking distance of the hotel.

The rooms were adequately, but minimally, furnished and had a decidedly 1980s look and feel.

The staff very friendly and helpful.

Overall, it's a okay place to stay. At 165 euro, it was the most expensive place I stayed on this trip, and the least "nice." I don't believe it deserves four-stars.

Good family hotel if locstion and being close to Amsterdam city center is not key priority.
Quiet, nice breakfast ( really dutch with 'hagelslag' and 'pindakaas') and very decent dprice level

We have just returned from our first trip to Amsterdam and to be honest this Hotel made our stay. From the moment we checked in to the minute we checked out evrything was perfect. Check in was efficient and quick and when I enquired about bus times not only was the receptionist was informative but she also gave us a free bus timetable. Our room was spotlessly clean and incredibly quiet as this hotel is set in lovely Dutch countryside, The beds were comfortable and there were several channels in English on the TV including BBC1 which helped us keep in touch with what was going on in the UK. Breakfast was of a great quality and the staff also very helpful nothing was too much trouble and done with a smile on their face. The hotel is about 30 mins from the Centre of Amsterdam but to be honest with the bus stop into Amsterdam 20 metres from the front of the hotel and the stop back 10 metres away it did not worry us as it was only 13 Euro travel for tow adults for the whole day and it gave you a great insite to Dutch life and the beautiful countryside,. Distance from the airports was around 15 minutes, Thanks you for a great stay we will be back.

Room Tip: Stayed on forth floor quiet clean and comfortable

I have just returned from another stay at this hotel. It represents great value for money. The rooms are large, with fridge, safe, and flat screen tv, all no charge. Very large and clean bathroom with bath, double sink, and seperate shower. The toilet is also sdeperate from the bathroom, which we also find good. The parking is secure and also free. Breakfast is buffet style and the quality is very good ; basically dutch style but still very good. Service at reception was excellent, and couldn't fault. Just across the road is the bus stop where the buses every 10 minutes will take you into Amsterdam centraal.
First class. Will definitely use again.

Big studio-apt, full kitchen, no microwave, very confortable beds. self service no daily cleaning, toiletries first day, very clean. CONS : No A/C though there is a big portable fan. I would certainly stayed there again but not in the summer. metro far but bus in front. nice neighborhood. resonable priced.
