We arrived at Les Blotteries around 7pm,very tired and wet after a day getting soaked at the Normandy beaches to be welcomed by a very jolly Jean-Malo and Madame La Pompe (their gorgeous dog)who permanently kept the doormat warm. Our room (Les Ecuries) was lovely with a newly added loft. Jean-malo gave us a very good recommendation for dinner-Le Lion D'Or a few mins drive away. In the morning he chatted with us at the breakfast table. I can speak some French but my husband does not speak a word so Jean-Malo very kindly always spoke to him in English. He appreciated my limited French though and we had a few laughs together. It was a very nice stay-a comfortable and quiet room with a friendly and sociable host. All within a short drive to Mont St Michel which enabled us to beat the crowds in the morning. Very highly recommended by two very experienced travellers with high expectations!
