We stayed at the campsite down the road from here so walked up both nights we were there and enjoyed the pub. The landlord was very friendly and pointed us in the right direction for the places we wanted to go. There is a good selection of drinks (Harveys always goes down well!) and not being a fan of having pubs taken over by the resturant side of things i was pleased to see that all the food is served around the side of the building, (tucked out of the way but with the same old traditional pub atmosphere) They have bar billiards and it was really nice to see the older local men playing it. I got chatting to a local man and was pleased to find it wasnt one of them pubs where strangers are looked at with digust.
