An enjoyable circular walk can be had here at any time of the year. Winter wildfowl can be interesting and will include large numbers of Canada Geese, Teal and Great crested Grebes plus Goosander and others from time to time. Spring is best with all variety of migrant warblers and early butterflies. Ospreys and Black Terns are occasional visitors. Large late afternoon gull roosts can occur. Nice café after your walk. Heed this advice, as certain stretches can be very muddy after rain so wear boots.
