We stayed here at the end of our cruise. We discovered how perfect it is for travellers to connect to the city. The concierge can keep the luggage for you if you arrive early or have to check out before your plane is ready.

Also, you can get tickets for the train system and have it charged to your hotel stay. All of this is connected by underground system to the airport and train system. It is indeed a SHORT walk to everything there. Very convenient.

The concierge can explain everything. Which train to catch. When to take it. How to get downtown. How many stops. It is about $12 round trip to take the train downtown, if my memory serves me well. Or it might have been 12 Euro???

Anyhow - Back to the hotel...

It looks rather box-ey and modern, but that is Northern European. IKEA-ish. It is very soothing and comfortable from the seats in the lobby to the beds and ergonomic chairs at the desks in the rooms.

Though right across the street from the airport, we didn't hear a single airplane take off because of the soundproof windows.

The staff is kind. The food looks great. We never ate there, and I didn't take any photos. Too exhausted from our cruise and all we ate during the week!

It is all you think of for Hilton quality. Feels like new. Marble bath (we had an upgraded room - HHonors members). Clean. Nice sturdy stuff. Good resources at your fingertips. This one seems like particularily high quality.

If you are looking for an easy place to stay for a quick 1 or two nights in town... between flights, this would be ideal for you.

“A kind of a strange stay...”

Hilton Copenhagen Airport

First we spend 4 lovely days in Berlin, staying at the Hilton Berlin. Hilton Berlin situated in the Heart of Berlin and a Heaven for Kids. After Berlin we went to Copenhagen to stay at the Hilton Copenhagen. The hotel itself is for Business people only, and NOT for children. We are Hilton Grand Vacations Owners, and we allways stay at Hilton Hotels and we love it. BUT Copenhagen is for Business only..... The fitness room was VERY dirty and the maschines were actually standing on top of another. We come from Denmark and normally we stay at Hilton Hotels in other countries, so it was a little strange that we didn´t like the hotel. If you go there as a family, think twice the hotel is situated at the airport 20 km from the city centre......
Go to Berlin instead, it is fantastic.

“Surprisingly convenient”

You may not consider an airport hotel convenient for the city centre, but this one really is. The end of the Metro line is right next to the hotel, with clean, swish driverless trains taking you to the heart of Copenhagen in under 15 minutes. The Metro also runs all night at weekends, so no danger of being stranded if you are painting the town red...

It is connected to the airport by a Skybridge, and you can even check-in from the hotel lobby.

The hotel itself is much of a muchness for a Hilton, the facilities are good quality - nice bathrooms with separate bath and walk-in shower, Bang and Olufsen TVs (not widescreen or flat-panel though, and no DVD player). Breakfast, if not included in your room rate, is expensive and internet access is chargeable at a scandalous rate. There is a tiny bit of aircraft noise depending on the room, but it's only noticable if you are a very light sleeper.

Overall a convenient place to stay for both airport and city, if you want to stay in a Hilton-type hotel.

“Great stopover at the Copenhagen Airport”

The Copenhagen Hilton is "the" airport hotel. It's directly connected to the departure/arrival hall.
I do recommend it for those who take a late flight via Copenhagen. I prefer to connect the next morning and spend a good night at the Hilton.

Although it's right inside the airport area, you won't hear a plane. The rooms are nice, modern, upscale scandinavian design and well equipped (Bang & Olufsen TV and stereo), with very nice modern bathrooms. The architecture is very recent with an 8 floors high Atrium.

You'll find amazingly comfortable spaces in the lobby, equipped with the famous egg chairs, and the restaurant serves good food. When I have a long layover in Copenhagen, I even prefer to go to the Hilton just for lunch.

If one wants to go into town, it's a 15 minutes train connection from the airport (3 min walk from the hotel lobby).

“Great hotel for busy travellers.”

Hilton Copenhagen Airport

Jun 24, 2008

Stayed there 2 nights, for business purposes. The hotel is what you'd expect from a Hilton, comfy modern and clean, but expensive. you even have to pay for Internet... Scandalous. Breakfast is ok, but there's also a Starbucks in the Airport Terminal, 5 minutes walk, for those interested. The hotel is also located 5 minutes to the train station which takes you, directly down town. I'll stay there again.

  • This TripAdvisor Member:
    • Liked — Convenient location by the Airport, hotel conform to Hilton standards
    • Disliked — Since when should you pay for Internet when staying in a 4 stars hotel? I mean, come on!!!
