Pretty ok. Rooms on the top floor at the back have a nice view over the city. We stayed their for three days, enjoyed the hot showers, but the last day there was no running water. Very convenient to have a supermarket in the hotel. You can buy whatever you like, and enjoy a beer on your own balcony. There is also a nice place a few houses further down the block where they sell great grilled fish. The restaurant is nice and even has pleasant lighting (instead of the usual TL). The bar is ok, but unless you specifically ask they will serve your beer warm.
Had a negative experience with the laundry services (overly expenses and they brought back my things wet), but the manager of the hotel made a real effort to correct this. In general I guess this may be a good advise: if there is something you don’t like – do as the Cameroonians and call the manager. He is really trying to serve his customers. He even arranged that our pineapples were cut, and let me make a free phone call.
Oh yes… and there is no elevator, so prepare for carrying your suitcase for floors down (they will carry it up) if you want to enjoy the good view.
