“sleeping like a baby!”

I stopped there only for one night, bur sincerely wished to stay longer. It's a really nice house, with a nice pool and I had a really nice room too...Rene and Anne -Marie are really nice person The breakfast was really good also. Anne -Marie offer Yoga courses...and you feel in a perfect relaxing mode over there...

Room Tip: My room had a direct access to the terrace and the pool..I think it's the only one like this, so...

Rene and Anne Marie were great hosts. Lodgings were comfortable, homey and very clean.
Great "sweet" and "non-sweet" breakfasts, I'd go back just for that alone as they set the
tone for my 2 week stay in Panama. They even adjusted their breakfast serving time on one day to accomodate our needs.
Rene and Anne Marie were knowledgeable and very
helpful on places to go and see which were all worth it. Their son Vincent was a charmer.
Don't pass up this location, even the Pacific coast beach was just a 7 min. walk down the road.

Such a relaxing environment after spending three days in Panama City. Hosts were most helpful for local things to do and great restaurant suggestions. Breakfast was wonderful !!!
Loved the areas to relax in the backyard.

My boyfriend and I stayed at El litoral three weeks in January and we must say that everything was great. Anne-Marie, René and their son Vincent are so generous. Great massages, very good yoga classes, big swimming pool... and the breakfast are amazing!!!!! We miss the place already! It's really quiet and relaxing, very close to the beach, we couldn't hope for more.

Thank you El Litoral!

Rene and Anne-Marie are awesome hosts! Their place is decorated with so much style and taste it makes it hard to leave for the day. When you do, you'll find one of the most amazing beaches a short walk away - and most likely "Friend" their dog will escort you. Yoga, massages, the pool.... too good for the price.
Looking forward to seeing R, A-M & V again.

Room Tip: Book ahead to avoid disappointment!

Charming and very comfortable B&B run by a very gracious and entertaining French Canadian couple. Highlights are an eclectic pool area/courtyard with hammocks and secluded breezy sitting areas, and a gourmet breakfast of which they are rightfully proud.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our 2-day stay at El Litoral. We arrived just as darkness was falling and Rene just happened to be driving back from Panama City. He led us back to the B&B. If you don't have such help, then after clearing the guard gate to the Coronado Beach development keep going until you've nearly reached the beach and hang a left on Punta Prieta (street signs are good). If you reach the little market on the left, then you've gone too far.

Because of a family emergency, Rene was handling everything solo during our stay. He had his hands full, but still made sure that we were welcome and oriented.

If you like well-mannered pets then you're in luck. They have 3 "ambassadors" - i.e., a small spotted mutt and 2 calico cats. All are friendly, but not intrusive. The dog stays outside, and is more than ready to join anyone who will take her for a walk to the beach.

The B&B is well-maintained and clean. The only rules are no shoes in the house in order to limit dirt and sand. However, if you have sandals, Crocs, thongs, etc. only for indoor use that is fine. Note: There is a temporary problem with dust in the entire neighborhood. They are preparing the road in front of the B&B for paving and that is creating a bunch of dust, some of which inevitably finds its way inside the facility. Don't plan on keeping you car clean. They try to reduce the impact by sprinkling down the road in front of the house. Again, this whole matter will be fixed soon.

Rene whipped up two different breakfasts during our stay. In fact, he proudly states that they have 45 different menus. I wish that I could try all based on the delicious offering during our stay. Day one included an assortment of fruit, Italian croissants, juice, and one of the fluffiest & tastiest omelets I've ever eater. I only passed on the cappaucino because I no longer drink coffee. Day two featured crepes with a touch of chocolate sauce and real maple syrup. Also, Rene made efforts to accomodate my wife's special dietary needs.

There are plenty of options for activities and relaxation. Offerings include yoga classes, massage, huge stretches of isolated beaches (at least on the weekdays), reading (they have a great book exchange program), a swimming pool, and so on. Of course, Rene and Anne Marie have a long list of contacts in the area to help with special requests.
