Myself, partner and 8 year old son visited here a couple of weeks ago. The experience was a complete mixed bag.
We initially went on Wednesday but after queing for a while were then told there was a two hour waiting period for the next available swim. We then decided to leave it, at which point the member of staff advised us to book online for another day, which would give a guaranteed time slot. We decided to do this, but as we were on holiday without access to a pc, we had to use a mobile to get online. Major issue - the website booking requires software that mobile phones cannot download, meaning anyone without PC access cannot book online - ridiculous given this is a tourist attraction. Telephone booking was not an option, which is also poor.
We then decided to visit the next day and chance it. We were told there was a 90 minute wait, so we stuck with it. Once in the pool itself we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Despite it being horribly busy for a while with very long queues for rides, the last hour quitened down and we got on the rides over and over again.
The whole experience was a mixed one, but we did have lots of fun.
