“Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Stayed here for 3 nights on a KGB voucher - fantastic value. Great room - good size, very clean and lovely furniture with loads of storage space - about 20 drawers in total! The bathroom was a good size with one of the best showers in any hotel I've visited - very powerful and hot. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Ate in the restaurant on the first night and the bar on the third night - both meals and the breakfasts were excellent - well presented and tasty. The hotel is well situated just off Narbeth's main street which has a good variety of shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great old house in a really good location for the town of Narberth. Our room was at the hotel overlooking the car park & gardens although on the small side it was adequate for a short break. We didn't eat at the hotel but the menu looked quite good. Breakfast was the usual cereal juice etc but on the first morning the service was a bit like a fawlty towers sketch but ok on our second morning. Nothing to complain about and sn enjoyable weekend.

Lovely food, a great variety to suite all taste buds and children. A great location in a very quaint village of Narbeth. Hotel was clean friendly and welcoming. Nice bar area, with modern decor, nice grounds with sitting areas. Didn't stay over night but plan to visit the shops in Narbeth and have a stay over to enjoy the restaurant and rooms.

Stayed here over the Easter weekend and had the best long weekend we've ever had. Ideally located to reach all the nearby attractions and sites. The hotel was excellent, but some parts of it were a bit dated, thou they are doing some upgrading, as they had just finished the dining room. Not sure about the choice of carpet! Would definitely stay again.

stayed for two days in March for a family wedding in the area. great food and lovely, friendly staff. The town itself was lovely to stroll around. The rooms were lovely and clean with more than adequate storage spaces. The beds were very comfortable.
Breakfast was served when you booked it giving you the chance for a lay in if you wanted.
The gardens were lovely, although i would imagine that they would be quite stunning when all the plants were in full bloom which was not the case in March.

Room Tip: the delux rooms were fabulous

We thought the idea of hotels selling cheap deals through KGB was to impress you and make you tell your friends how wonderful the hoetel is; and you would want to go back again.
Well not here; reception were inefficeicent or not there. Although the hotel was not full they put us in the smallest, darkest room in the hotel.
Room 12 has a double bed with a single duvet, you can just walk round the bed if you are very slim, the high & only window measured 18" X 60" and looked out onto a flat roof surrounded by walls and other much higher roofs, on the flat roof were air conditioning units and boiler flues. You could not open wardrobe doors wide because of door closer on outside door.Although pleasant furnishings, things needed maintenance.Breakfast was OK but did not eat evening meal in hotel as we felt unwelcome.

Room Tip: I realise a lot of people give good reviews and maybe if you pay full price you recieve good service...
