What a fantastic little gem of a restaurant this is. It would be very easy to walk past this place but what a mistake that would be. The food is absolutely first class, every mouthful is a real delight. The couple who run the restaurant are lovely, the chef being from South Africa really understands food and cooks it to perfection. Having eaten in many top restaurants around the world I can honestly say that this was up their with the best of them. We popped in on an early bird menu and were rewarded with a good selection of dishes to choose from. The lamb Kofte kebabs and calamari (two dishes that we shared for a starter) were so tasty we wished that we had ordered a double helping and done away with the mains. That was until the steak arrived, I love a rib eye and both of ours were so succulent with just the right amount of seasoning that we had to ask where the chef sourced his meat .... trade secret I'm guessing and one worth guarding. The apple tart pudding was home made and just wonderful, we asked for a dolop of ice cream which they were more than happy to add without any fuss or extra being added to the bill. All in all a real find and a place we will be visiting again and again, can't believe we haven't been before ! Please follow in our footsteps and enjoy a memorable night out of food heaven.
