I have been a frequent guest at Blue Mountain Resort. It is a good place for families as the resort has great amenities for kids of all ages, including teens. There is a restaurant for every taste and budget. The ski school also offers excellent programs. One issue that always troubles me when I have stayed overnight is the noise that infiltrates the suites. The noise can come from various sources: from very large parties that CRAM into the suites or from the village where the bars play loud music or it can be from young adults who take over the outdoor hot tub and bring their radios. It is very difficult to get any quiet before midnight - so families with young children who need their sleep - be warned. Also for those of us who come to ski and need a good night's sleep, this is a troubling issue. This problem is especially difficult during university week or reading week. Security does not help much either.
