Arrived to check in only to be told that they weren't processing until 3pm, however to expedite the process they suggested to do the paper work then come by at 3pm to pick up the key code. Sounds great right? Well we go at 3pm only to wait in line for 40mins! The line extended outside! The front staff looked overwhelmed, they did their best but this was poorly thought out. Once we finally got the key code, yup it was the wrong code, after 3-4 trips back to the front desk, yes waiting back in line!!! We were told the code was correct or we just didn't know how to do the code....hmmmm. The maintenance crew were great helping out, the accommodation were good but the overall experience trying to get to the place left a sour taste.

The electric fire place advertised on the website was broken and they were not able to fix it. It is way below standard and it's not worth $300 per night. It is 5 minutes driving away from the village. Bathrooms were ok. But sofa bed is only enough for an adult. We were on 2nd floor of lodges and stair ways were not maintained for snow and It was way slippery.

This is hardly a resort... Very run down. The room (or "deluxe suite" in their parlance) is in need of a paint job, and new/cleaner furniture as multiple people here have remarked. The "suites" are much more cramped than the pictures would suggest. The kitchen is adequately stocked but very tired. The bed/bedding are marginal. Despite making us sign a bunch of paperwork requiring us not to make noise, a loud party came back partway through the night and ran its due course upstairs (with beer bottles lying around outside in the morning for an after-effect). Soundproofing of the place is minimal - we could hear every step and every noise.

Not good value for the money at all.

Stayed last weekend in a unit with a bedroom and loft. Obviously a rental only. The furniture, beds and all appliances were all very substandard. Paint peeling off walls, light bulbs burned out, closet doors both broken, no phone and no front boot mat. Positive, shower was good. Very disappointing for $300 a night.

Room tip: Do not book room 709....needs major updating

I stay at this resort - using one woman who owns a few suites there - all of her suites are upgraded .. & its decorated beautifully. Open concept 1 bedroom with kitchen & patio - usually in the area of "9" at the end of the resort. I love this place. Good cabins from the woman i use - free shuttle service (just need to call ahead) love this place - but the service is slow - if you need something that they didnt give u - it will be hours. better to get it yourself

Thank you for your review and thank you for your continued business. I thought I would clarify one point. While you have rented your condo through a private owner, many of the front desk services are not available to guests of owners who choose to rent privately and do not rent through the onsite management company. Those owners do not pay for those services. If you were looking for more services you can book directly with The Lodges at Blue Mountain as we are the onsite managers.
