“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

We stayed here couple of nights early this month. We found the location good, not far from the railway station and town centre and with beautiful views. Lots of parking available too. Room was neat and well maintained. Break fast was very good; could enjoy the BF looking out to the beautiful views. The host, Andrew was very helpful and very welcoming and gave good service. Was woken up in the morning by a lonely sheep out in the backyard! :-) Will stay here in future if we visit the area :-)

I stayed one night at Tingle Creek recently and I think it is a bit overpriced. The room is nothing special, so is the breakfast buffet. I noticed that they had a big dancing floor in the dining room, not sure if it's open for guests though. There are many other B&B in the area, who offer a lot more discount. I wouldn't say it's a bad choice to stay at the hotel, I just think there are many alternatives with better pricing...

Others providing feedback have all commended Andrew and I have to say he really makes the difference. He's everywhere, looking after everyone with an incredible attention to detail. The hotel itself is an excellent value for money, with good meals featuring locally sourced ingredients and great views over the water. I would absolutely recommend the hotel, the area and the gorgeous scenery.

Room Tip: Spend the bit extra and choose a room overlooking the water. The beds are quite high enabling incre...

Thank You Andrew & staff for a wonderful stay! We are and will recommend Tingle Creek to everyone and look forward to returning in not too distant future.

Wonderful service from all staff in particular Andrew. Wonderful food especially the breakfast which set you up for the day. Spotlessly clean throughout. Lovely comfy bed & lovely bathroom. Location Perfect!

Despite being a Geordie, Andrew has mastered the art of highland hospitality to a "T". Be it the service, food, cleanliness or the friendly banter. A stay here is good for the soul. Even though Andrew said he would try, he did not manage to prevent a little rain. Though in all fairness, this is the only thing he failed on. I will recommend Tingle Creek Hotel to everyone looking to have a west Scotland break, and we hope to return soon. It helped make a good holiday, great.
Keep up the sterling work Squire

The stay was totally worth the money paid. First of all, every one of the staff was friendly and helpful, they had made every single effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I would like to thank Andrew for being so thoughtful and helpful, he was willing to sacrifice his sleep just to drive us to the nearby rail station early in the morning (6am). Thank you so much, Andrew. Other than that, the surroudings of the hotel was beautiful, the view from the window of my room was just splendid and calling it dreamy may not be an exaggeration! Watching the sun set into the ocean while a train passed by before disappearing in the golden mist, can you imagine that scenery? The only downside I can think of is the lack of public transport in the area, but it's definitely not the fault of the hotel, besides there is a taxi company nearby offering services at a reasonable price. Both my dad and I really enjoyed our stays in the hotel, we'll definitely visit Tingle again someday in the future. =)

Room Tip: The double-room with sea view is awesome.

Thank you Andrew and staff for a most enjoyable stay. This hotel is privately run and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The view from our newly refurbished bedroom was outstanding and the bed is one of the most comfortable and fresh hotel beds I have slept in.
I can highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms to the front have a most beautiful view.
