On a trip to Hakone, the station in Tonami sold us a pass for Tokyo area instead of Liner seats so we missed our last train to Hakone, winding up instead at Odawara near midnight. We asked a taxi driver where a hotel might be and he angrily pointed us at a love hotel (we're two girls) before basically shooing us off. A police officer directed us to the official station hotel where we were informed that there were no walk-ins available, BUT he did give us a map with other hotels and that was how we found Posh. They were AMAZING. They got us a room, gave us breakfast for the morning (bread, yogurt, cheese, bananas and soup), and a hair dryer, for 5500 each for the night on seriously last minutes notice. Finding a place to stay last minute when you're in a city you've never been to before is normally ridiculously stressful, but Posh made the experience into a completely awesome adventure. In the morning all of the staff was super chipper and nice, and offered us orange juice before we left. Thanks Posh!
