Our first visit to the Trafford Centre (see my other review for that), me and my boyfriend chose TGI's as it not somewhere we go often as a treat.
We went on a Saturday afternoon so of course the centre was pretty busy but we only had a wait of 20-25 minutes which we thought was fairly adequate considering the how busy the food court was.
Waited at the bar and was served drinks quickly while waiting.
The service was great, our waitress Michelle was friendly giving us a roomy table for two.
We couldn't find a cocktail we had a few years previous to this trip and Michelle brought the barman over so we could describe it to the barman. He recognised the cocktail from my description and even though it wasn't on the menu, he made it for me. We thought this was really nice of him to take time to find out what it was.
Had enough time to look at the menu, we ordered the sesame chicken strips, onion rings, double glazed ribs (see picture) and jack daniels burger.
The main meal did arrive very soon after the starters but they asked us if this was too soon and offered to take the mains back into the kitchen to keep warm until we had finished our starters.
Food was of a very generous size and was gorgeous - the jack daniels sauce is a definite recommendation.
As a treat we had a very large meal: 3 starters, 5 drinks and 2 mains (between two) and this was around £60 which we thought was a good price for everything we had.
The atmosphere was great - ever so friendly.
Would certainly recommend this restaurant as being in the Trafford Centre was good too.
