My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding in nearby Rhynie. The house is in a gorgeous location away from the hustle and bustle with numerous forest/hill walks providing stunning views surrounding it. We were made to feel very welcome by all members of the family from beginning to end and even had an introduction to the pet chickens from their youngest.
The room itself was very comfortable and beautifully decorated with a lovely, modern ensuite including a massive walk in shower. Free wifi was available although it's quite nice to just switch off and forget about technology when in such a pretty area. Can also thoroughly recommend having the cooked breakfast, it's fantastic and really set us up for the day.
Take full advantage of the walks on the doorstep, it certainly cleared my head after an eventful wedding the night before. Maps are provided of the different routes and there's a lovely one that takes you along by the river where we spotted a Heron. Definitely recommend this guest house and hope to have an opportunity to stay here again in the future.
