Superb 6 days Easter break. The Swincombe room and adjoining rocks were ideal for the family, especially Bailey who was over the moon that the location had Wi-Fi. Clean and comfortable with plenty of drinking refreshments in the room. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing with plenty of walks on the doorstep. Helen and Jaye were the perfect hosts every morning, serving up a delicious breakfast with all locally sourced products and with a wealth of information on the different areas, we were visiting or could visit.

Definitely recommend the Black Venus Pub, which is walking distance from the farm and serve up great food. However, don't be put off by the size or busyness, the owners are very welcoming and will accommodate you as quickly has they can.

Superb place and location, which is easily accessible to other areas.

Thanks to you both Helen and Jaye, for a lovely break and hope you were able to fix the lamp.

Room Tip: Swincombe room and rocks is a great family room with shared bathroom dividing the rooms if you have...

Stayed for one night and found the farm and surrounding area fantastic. The bed was cosy and very clean. Breakfast delicious, granola the best. The local pub food really good but get there by 7pm as tables fill up early.

We went to Twitchen Farm for 3 days and it was truly lovely! I went with some friends and my dog. Everyone there was really welcoming and friendly and they all loved Flash (my dog)! The Scenery was mind blowing! It was really nice to get away from the city and escape to proper countryside! The food was amazing, and they also took us on a long walk on the coast which was really lovely especially because of the perfect weather! When we got back there was a lovley fire burning, it was perfect! 10/10! Thank you for such a lovely weekend guys! x

We decided to escape to the countryside from the countryside (if that makes sense) and found this lovely place. We had an amazing time in and around Twitchen Farm with scenic walks on Exmoor, superb coastal views from nearby Lynton and Lynmouth and a short drive to the historic market town of Barnstaple. Twitchen farm itself is a breath of fresh air with lovely cottage style rooms, friendly and interesting hosts and a bath to die for (ours was huge). The food was brilliant and as vegetarians, we were not disappointed as the lovely people at Twitchen farm catered to our needs. Overall, very satisfied with our stay and would recommend.

Room Tip: The room with the big bath is just lovely with the views of the sun going down relaxed and soaked in...

Just returned from a weekend at Twitchen Farm in the Incredible Exmoor National Park and it was just the break my partner and I needed from the stresses of our London life. The farm is set in acres of beautiful countryside and is a lovingly restored building with cosy rooms and a very warm welcome. Will definitely be returning again in August to experience it in Summer.

As a Londoner, I am used to the fast pace of life that London provides. This can be very stressful and requires a break from time to time in order to keep ones sanity in tact. I make a point of visiting some of the more beautiful parts of the UK, and for my first trip to Devon I was not only impressed by the sheer beauty and peace of the area, but with the accommodation to match; Twitchen Farm, located in a particularly pretty part of the countryside, not too far from the beautiful Devon Coastline, was an ideal place to stay. The staff were friendly, smiley and approachable, the overall grounds of the farm were spacious, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious - fresh local produce that Londoners rarely have the privilege of experiencing. With plenty of British heritage culture around the local area and many beautiful, quiet towns and villages nearby, if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxed English getaway, Twitchen Farm is the place for you. Highly recommended.
