We had originally booked another restaurant(cant remember the name but they have"secret pig" on the menu) but on sitting down realised they did not accept debit or credit cards. We decided to leave and headed round to the water front reasaurants where on chatting to staff at "Baixmar"we decided to eat here. We were very glad we did as the food was out of this world. We ordered clams cooked in garlic and corriander and octopus cooked in cream(salavating as i write this)as starters, the octopus in garlic was so good we ordered another to share. 2 of our party ordered tuna cooked in garlic and corriander as a main, the others more octopus cooked in different styles(3) including, "Algarvian pulvo" this followed by various desserts including traditional fig and apple cake peach melbas and ices etc.The meal was delicious no negatives ,the staff friendly and attentive without being in your face.Great eating experience at very reasonable price(158 euros for 6)
