Looking in Trip Advisor for a restaurant in Walenstadt off season I thought would be difficult! Grant it there was only one, so we decided to give it a go. Easy to find with lots of parking around! The restaurant if of ample size, clean, fresh looking with an LCD showing the best of Italy. The waiter was prompt, friendly and explained the menu well (as I don't speak German!).
We got the curry risotto, and the ravioli, both were delicious, homemade, and very very tasty. We got a bottle of white, and a coffee, and it came to 80 Swiss Francs. I felt it was worth it, and I think we might actually go back again!
The only thing I would say would be that at night the lights should be a little dim, it was very bright in the restaurant, and some music would be good to add to the atmosphere, small things, but the big selling point for this little find is the food!!
