Everything was clean and functional.the staff waa cooperative and friendly. steakhouse had amazing food so ofcourse it couldnt be dirt cheap.prices were moderate and the food was amazing.good value for money and a great place for couples and families.

We had a really great time at Hastings Resort - We were lucky enough to go during off season so I gather it was quieter then usual.
The service was incredible, everyone was so friendly and really cared about our happiness while staying at the resort.

The resort itself was designed beautifully, great property and situated along some great hiking trails. We had a great view of the trees of our balcony and truly enjoy the serenity and peacefully environment. I would stay here again and would recommend it for a nice weekend away with or without kids.

The room was stuffy and muggy, the tiny air conditioner didn't work properly and made a loud droning noise all night long (from where the bed was located it was about three feet away from my head). The dining room didn't look anywhere near as nice as in the picture and there were no tablecloths, napkins, etc. and I never saw any food being served there. Most of the time there was no one at the front desk to ask for anything. The water in the shower was backing up through the drainpipe and flooding the stall. When we complained, we were told that this was happening in all of the rooms and they blamed it on the cleaning lady for not doing a good job. Get real. If this is happening in ALL of the rooms, its a serious drainage problem that they have and the main pipe should be snaked out to at least 30 feet away from the building because it's probably clogged with roots and mud. I could only imagine the bacteria that was in the water that my husband's feet were standing in. I cringed. There was supposed to be breakfast but there was no food, not even milk or bread to make toast. No coffee. Nothing. Don't waste your money or time driving all the way there. It's not worth it.

Room Tip: there aren't any as far as we are concerned.

Paid for two nights but left before twn am after the first night.
There was absolutely no sound proofing between the upper level and walls that we were up all night. You can hear the people on the above floor walking around, talking and coughing. Terrible. The room was FREEZING when we got there and there was no soap in the room, nothing, no shampoo, conditioner or hand soap, very strange.
The Lodge was the only nice part of the visit but it didn't open for breakfast until 9:00 a.m. and because of the noise of the hotel we were up at 7:00 a.m. by the time we got to eat we were starved!

We had an awesome three night stay. We were a big group, thirty plus people, staff were very pleasant and helpful when needed. I'd like to send a special thanks to Anton, he is such a sweet young man. He accommodated all our requests without question. We were allowed to hang out in the main floor conference room in the evenings, which allowed our entire group to be together. The restaurant is definitely a five star for food, delicious! Servers are a little inexperienced, but make up for it in character. This restaurant is not cheap, bring a thick wallet! Great place to stay for Snowmobiling in the winter, or four wheeling in the summer.

Room Tip: Limited rooms with jacuzzi tubs

Mom and I took a two day trip to the resort it was a good two days. The room including the bathroom was very clean and well kept. We loved the feel and look of the pace. We had two good nights sleep.
We got there late and so the restaurant was close and we had to drive back into town just over an hour return trip to the lodge to get something to eat.
We had lunch and dinner on the property the next day which was super pricey and the food not so great. I had the salmon which was fantastic and the other stuff which came with the meal was all fried and not very good. There was cheese or something like cheese over everything which was I had a bite of one of the items and it sat around my body all day.I had to send it back and requested just plain veggies. The waitress was good about it. Dinner was salmon and lobster which was not at all bad. Again super over priced. I was a bit disappointed since the chef was Italian. I expected a much better meal especially if I am spending over $100
