You can serve good food, but if you're a deceitful host you've lost my respect.
We asked for a local anti-pasti and got a mix of three anti-pasti in small servings.
At the end of the evening the owner charged us three times the full price, 31 euro's for what I thought was a "misto" starter. I had a fuller misto anti-pasti at Re Sugo in Grosseto for 12 euro's, with more on the plate and better quality food. I couldn't stop staring at the bill.
One good thing I'll say: the pici ragu was delicious.
Also the desserts, which we ordered without seeing the menu, were the most expensive I've had so far in Italy. The cream caramel I had was supermarket crap.
I'm sad that I am reminded again never to order off menu in Italy.
