Located near morjim beach, the approach may seem a bit odd but once you are there, it is a great place to cool off your heels. Recommended

Will be going again and would recommend to people who are looking for some alternatives to the usual buzzy places

We did this trip in the 1st week of Feb 2013 and stayed there for 4 nights. Although it is tucked away in a remote corner, it was the best thing we would have wanted. This is a budget hotel and makes no bones of it. It has been kept clean and neat and the restaurant serves decent food. It is not the best though. However, its proximity to the beach/sea is amazing. It is worth the money you spend here.

Had some time off in between jobs and wanted to take a quiet little break in Goa. Found this place by chance, but I'm glad I did. This is a little resort tucked away in an oasis on the corner of the amazing Morjim beach. It's quite an experience living inside a treehouse literally surrounded by nature. To top that, a few of the treehouses have a fabulous view of the beach that will hardly make you want to get out. Get down and walk for a few seconds and you'll find the waves at your feet. Morjim beach is non-commercial for the most part and during off season, it is almost empty. The cafe has a restaurant which is pretty good but not the best around. I liked the Fish Curry Rice and the Roast Chicken. The staff is very friendly and always serve you with a smile; they'll also help you with anything you may require like bikes, flight tickets, etc. To sum it up, this is a great place to de-stress and get some peace.

Nice huts and cottages without much luxury.. Its green and a great place to relax but dont expect fancy features .. rustic and quaint in its own way giving you time to unwind.. we stayed in a wooden ac bungalow which is quite alright except though you will encounter frogs ,insects but then thats what makes it charming.. it has the essence of North Goa stay with a marvelous access to the beach. The food is not great and it would be better to search for alternative options

Room Tip: There is no alcohol available in the hotel.

Stayed in a treehouse for 3 weeks in Jan 2013. Beautiful setting, great for kitesurfing. The staff are very friendly and everything is relaxed and highly enjoyable. Awesome food at the Rainbow restaurant next door.

The road leading up to this "resort"( as with most of the best loations in India) is narrow & bumpy.
The property is excellently located right on the lovely Morjim beach, far from the maddening crowds of Calangute, which is mostly why we chose this place.
The resort is a family run type with no professional mangagement. The local lads who run the place are a bit "chilled out", so be prepared to rough it out a bit.
We stayed in the wooden cottages- a cute idea, but a bit more planning & maintenance could make all the difference. These are located furthest from the reception & beach & there is no phone connection with the reception. There is a small kitchen platform & fridge on the ground floor, & a large bathroom with a tub, but most of the plumbing doesn't work & the shower is a mere trickle. They have cut square openings in the wood to let out the round plumbing pipes, which leave openings for little frogs to enter, who hop around the bathroom & position themselves in stategic positions - under the toilet seat! Hilarious as an after thought though!
You get to the bedroom on the 1st floor after climbing a steep wooden stairway & then one of the boys come to tell u that u are meant to be in the other cottage. So u move out with your bags to the other cottage & he realises that it has not been cleaned so u move back to the 1st cottage with your bags. The boy is very keen to supply u with a box of beer ( purchased from a local shop i guess) since this place is not liscenced to serve alcohol- to maintain a family atmosphere.
The bedroom is tiny , fitted with an A/C & fan, though it was quite cold at night in Dec.
The curtain rods are fitted crooked & curtains are way too small for the windows. 2 single sheets were used on the double bed, perhaps they ran out of larger sheets. The linen & towels, were stained, although laundered. There was a blanket in the closet with dead bugs for company.
The boys clean the room only if ask them to, though the fridge could do with better cleaning, the tap filters should have been cleaned out so they work & then they forget to leave u some soap.
At Rs 2000 a nite, we would have expected better & cleaner service. The balcony has easy chairs, but the cushions are without covers & not too clean. The little garden in front of each cottage too has sun beds, but those sheets too haven't been regularly cleaned.
The breakfast supplied is quite good, though on the 1st day we had more " water" than melon in the watermelon juice. The website says " enjoy goan bhajjis on alternate days" but the staff didn't know about this! There is wifi in the restaurant. We didn't have any meals here, we didn't see others eating here either. There are shacks lining the beach with a more lively atmosphere. Montego Bay was good for dinner. Their accomodation seemed good too. Our favourite was "Fish & Feni" for authentic Goan food.
Goan Cafe n resort has the potential to be a much better place with some professional management & supervision on the cleanliness.
Nearer to the beach on this property are the temporary shacks on stilts, offering great views of the beach. Seems a fun option. There are hammocks to laze on & they also supply sunbeds on the beach.
You can request them to get down some coconuts with a day's notice at Rs 50 each.
They can organise a banana boat ride & some sight seeing trips, we didn't try out any as we've been to Goa several time before & this time was just to chill on the beach.
